Dan Winter, Vice President of Operations

Dan Winter brings dynamic leadership to the senior team of Sawmill Road Management Company, drawing upon diverse experiences in real estate, new construction, mechanical services, and building high-performing teams.

In addition to 10 years in related industries, Dan is a licensed real estate agent and is National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate (NSpire) certified. He joined SRMC in 2023 to drive the company’s strategic direction and ensure it meets key operational performance outcomes. In his first year, he doubled the company’s property portfolio from ~700 units to over 1.400 and negotiated third-party management contracts that increased annual revenues by 40%.

To ensure the expansion occurred seamlessly and that SRMC exceeded expectations for service and compliance, Dan also worked to onboard team members that fit company culture and goals, standardize operational procedures across newly acquired assets, and scale internal systems. He also oversees budgeting, cost-control and technology systems to increase efficiency and responsiveness. 

Dan earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Franklin University.
